Strings

The School of Music provides a strong program for string instrumentalists of all majors. Loyola string majors are consistently and quickly placed in university programs throughout the country.

Performance majors will find that the College of Music and Media offers a unique orchestral experience, a nurturing, professional environment, personal attention, challenging curricula and ample performance opportunities.

Even string players who are not music majors can enjoy a number of rich musical experiences at Loyola University.

  • Jazz Ensembles
  • The Loyola Presents Series brings world-renowned artists to Loyola throughout the academic year for concerts and masterclasses that are free to Loyola College of Music and Media students.
