Assessment Plan

The School of Communication and Design maintains a comprehensive assessment plan. The current plan was formally adopted on January 13, 2026, and is reviewed annually by the faculty to ensure it remains aligned with program goals, industry expectations, and ACEJMC accreditation standards. The assessment plan, available at the link below, outlines each of the ACEJMC student learning outcomes and identifies the direct and indirect assessment measures used to evaluate student achievement. It specifies where each outcome is introduced, reinforced, and assessed within the curriculum; the assessment instruments used; the timeline for data collection; and the faculty responsible for reviewing results. Assessment findings are discussed annually and used to inform curricular revisions, improve student learning, and support the School's commitment to continuous improvement.
