Dance

Our dance offerings challenge and support seasoned dancers, passionate amateurs, and student-artists who want to learn how to better tell stories through movement.

We don't currently offer an official degree in Dance, but you've got plenty of opportunities to practice dance in the classroom and on the stage. Our courses include Ballet, Tap Dance, Jazz Dance for Musicals, African Dance, Afro-Modern, and Modern. We also offer specialty courses with guest artists.

Professor "Mama Kai" Knight also leads Loyno's Dance Ensemble, a group of dancers from across the university who perform every semester and for Loyno's Mass of the Holy Spirit.
