Shaid Stewart brings an interdisciplinary perspective to his role as Events Coordinator for Loyola University's School of Music and Theatre Professions. Drawing on a career that spans business, hospitality, facilities management, operations, and higher education, he combines strategic planning with creative problem-solving to cultivate experiences that enrich the Loyola community and celebrate the performing arts.

He earned a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and has built a career shaped by curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to service. His professional journey has included roles in hospitality, business analysis, fleet management, facilities operations, and university administration, each contributing to a broad understanding of leadership, logistics, and collaboration. He also holds HVAC and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certifications, reflecting an appreciation for both technical expertise and hands-on problem-solving.

A lifelong musician, he plays trumpet, drum set, and piano, and enjoys producing and engineering music in his home studio. His passion for music extends beyond performance, informing his work in creating spaces where artists, students, and audiences can connect through shared experiences.

Beyond the university, he enjoys attending music festivals, gardening, practicing yoga, spending time with his dachshunds, and serving his church community through retreats and Bible studies. He finds inspiration in the ways music, community, and shared experiences bring people together, and he strives to carry that same spirit of connection, creativity, and service into every aspect of his work.
