Laura A. Jayne

Laura Jayne joined the College of Music and Media in August 2009. As Director of Student Services, Ms. Jayne helps students navigate through college for the best possible experience. She assists with advising, student events, and Dean’s office planning. She also runs the College and Community class initiative for CMM. She worked for The Times-Picayune for many years in many capacities, including page one editor and sports night editor. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications and her master's degree in counseling from Loyola.
