Bio

Diane G. Langston, PhD, MT-BC, is a nationally board-certified music therapist with extended training in neurologic music therapy (NMT) practice. Diane graduated with her bachelor’s, master's, and doctoral degree in music therapy from the Florida State University.

Diane established the music therapy program in the North Florida/South Georgia VA Health System in 2017 through a partnership with Creative Forces to develop protocol and best practices for delivering music therapy services via telehealth to Veterans in rural communities. She has since developed a clinical training program for practicum students and music therapy interns.

Diane has presented on the delivery of music therapy via telehealth throughout the United States at national and regional conferences, and internationally. Diane served on the National VA RT/CAT Field Advisory Board, Southeastern Region AMTA Board of Directors as the 2nd-VP, and currently on the Creative Forces Clinical Leadership Team. Diane is a published author and continues to advocate for music therapy research and services with Veterans, their families, and the communities in which they live.
