Andres Benavides-Cascante '17, a senior vocal performance major, won the February 19th Metropolitan Opera Council Regional Auditions held at Loyola. Andres will now advance to the finals in New York City where he will compete with the 11 other regional finalists from all over the country. Andres qualified by winning the Houston Regionals. Andres is coached by Loyola voice faculty member Luretta Bybee.
