About

The Loyola Chamber Orchestra and Choirs perform in Holy Name of Jesus Church.

National recognition is music to our ears

With the musical legacy that is part of New Orleans, it’s no coincidence that some of the country’s most recognized Music programs are here. Loyola’s College of Music and Media is the home of a nationally recognized opera program, the city’s first program in jazz studies, a nationally renowned string education program, and one of the first music therapy programs in the nation. We continue the tradition of excellence and innovation with a world-class Music Industry Studies program.
