Tyler Lindsay to receive 2015 David Baker Collegiate Scholarship sponsored by Jamey Aebersold. This award recognizes an outstanding jazz student who excels in a college/university music program who has a strong resume and is supported with exemplary recommendations from professionals in the field. This award was established in 2010 by Jamey Aebersold to honor the contributions of NEA Jazz Master/Educator David Baker to recognize a university student who demonstrates talent, spirit, and commitment to the field of jazz studies.
Tyler Lindsay is invited to receive the award during the 6th Annual JEN Conference in beautiful San Diego Jan. 7-10, 2015. In addition to his scholarship Tyler will also receive a 1 year Jazz Education Network membership.
