JeAnne Swinley '11, winner of several Big Easy Foundation Awards

JeAnne Moniz Swinley '11, a graduate of the Masters of Music in Performance, took home a Big Easy Theatre award for her recital with the Montage Series at Loyola's College of Music and Media entitled An Unquiet Spirit: Madams, Madmen, and Other Unsavory Characters. Swinley's other recent performance highlights include roles in two other Big Easy Award winning productions: the title role in Carlisle Floyd's Susannah as part of the Loyola Opera and Rossini's Stabat Mater presented by the St. Charles Presbyterian Church.

Swinley has also taken part as Rebecca Cummings in EE me & Pollack thee, a new chamber opera which premiered for the 2011 New Orleans Fringe Festival, also an award nominee, and soloist for Bach Magnificat. In addition, she is an ongoing professional soloist with St. Charles Presbyterian Church where upcoming orchestral events include Mozart's Grand Mass in C in April 2012.
