On November 30, 2016, Dr. William Horne presented a paper, "Beethoven's String Quintet in C Major, Op. 29, and Brahms's String Sextets: A Wallflower Blooms" at 'Footsteps of a Giant': Brahms and the Influence of Beethoven, a Symposium presented by the Boston University Center for Beethoven Research.
Dr. Horne is the Francisco M. Gonzalez M.D. Distinguished Professor of Music Theory and Composition at Loyola.
