Loyola is thrilled to welcome to campus special guest performer, Manuel Barrueco for a solo guitar recital. Mr. Barrueco is an internationally renowned guitarist, widely recognized as a leading figure in classical guitar across the world. He has performed as a guest soloist with the Helsinki Philharmonic, collaborated with prominent modern composers such as Arvo Pärt and Toru Takemitsu, and recorded over a dozen works under the EMI label, including an award-winning recording of Joaquín Rodrigo's "Concierto de Aranjuez" with conductor and tenor Plácido Domingo.
