Azucena "Azu" Romá '14 (graphic design) was one of two winners in the New Orleans Red Bull Canvas Cooler Project competition. The project pairs up-and-coming artists with local venue owners in major U.S. cities. Twenty hand-picked artists are given the one-day challenge of transforming a blank canvas-wrapped Red Bull cooler into a work of art. Roma’s work, which will be on permanent display at the Westin Canal Place, was selected as one of the winners, earning her the chance to exhibit and sell her work at the Scope Art Show in Miami during the 2014 Art Basel Week in December.
