The Loyola Voice Symposium brings together world-renowned artists and teachers across the spectrum of professional singing to present master classes and lectures for young singers and for teachers of voice. Full registration includes two days of professional development. The next day, the guest clinicians and two Emerging Artists will perform on the Opera Gala (tickets available separately).

Loyola's Voice Symposium will have a limited number of masterclass spots this year. Anyone can attend but only twenty selected singers will be able to participate in the masterclasses as Emerging Artists. Out of these twenty spots, ten spots are reserved for musical theatre students, and ten spots are reserved for classical students. 

Auditions

Individuals who wish to participate in masterclasses must be singers between the ages of 18 and 35, and submit a video audition by midnight on Friday, Febraury 16th, 2024. Classical singers auditioning should submit three arias in contrasting styles and in three contrasting languages (English may be one of these languages). Musical Theatre singers should submit three songs - one contemporary, one from Golden Age, and one of their choice.

Full participation as an Emerging Artist is $125, in addition to a $75 Collaborative Pianist fee. Individuals may also attend the Symposium as an auditor for a $75 fee.
