Theater alumnus name wardrobe supervisor at Moore's School of Music Opera

Kaleb Babb (BA '13) is named Wardrobe Supervisor for the prestigious Moore's School of Music Opera Department at the University of Houston. Under the artistic direction of Buck Ross, he will supervise and lead the wardrobe crew on all mainstage and outreach productions. 

After graduation, May 2013, Kaleb started as the Costume Apprentice for the Allenberry Playhouse in Boiling Springs, PA. During his apprenticeship, he moved quickly into company Wardrobe Supervisor as well as serving as the Costume Designer for the Allenberry Professional Theatre Conservatory for aspiring young artists. Now in Houston working as a freelance professional, Kaleb is also working as a Stitcher/Technician for the Houston Ballet Center for Dance. While moving towards more production opportunities in Houston, Kaleb is also pursuing many performance opportunities as well. He recently has been seen in productions of Equus and The Tempest with local companies, but has also become a regular supernumerary actor with the Houston Grand Opera. There he performed in the World Premiere production of A Christmas Carol directed by British actor/director Simon Callow.
