Sophomore Marin Trepagnier Becomes a Student Ambassador

Loyno’s TAD community would like to show off a very special and dedicated young lady, Marin Trepagnier.

“My name is Marin Trepagnier. I am a Theatre Arts major with a double minor in Business Administration and Catholic Studies. I am a Sophomore or second-year, and as a Student Ambassador, I represent all of the student body here at Loyola! With my academic coursework, I am able to represent the College of Music and Media, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Business. I’m the Panhellenic Delegate for Theta Phi Alpha, Stage Manager for TAD’s Intimate Apparel, and involved with Student Life and Ministry in Catholic Studies and the 9 PM Mass Community. As for being a student ambassador, I was approached by Catherine Kurucar who is one of the Admissions Interns. She invited me to send in my resumé to Admissions to go through the interview process. After submitting my resumé, I had an interview, presentation, exam, shadow tours, and a mock tour before becoming a certified Student Ambassador. There was some delay to this due to Hurricane Ida, but when I got back to campus, I immediately started!”

“So far, it has been the best experience. I love giving tours and getting to share Loyola’s beautiful campus. My mission for being a Student Ambassador is to be able to influence prospective students to make the best college choice for themselves while also considering Loyola New Orleans. There are so many amazing parts of Loyola, and the school is always looking for the best interests of students. Also, both of my parents graduated from Loyola New Orleans, so I just want to be able to share this same legacy that they gave to me and continue on the tradition. Geaux Wolfpack!”

We are so proud of you, Marin! We can’t wait to see what you do in your role, and wish you the very best in your future endeavors.
