Professor in the Spotlight from "The Walking Dead" to "Bad Moms"

Ann Mahoney is no stranger to professional success, but with two major motion pictures and recurring roles in three televisions series, 2016 has proven to be a particularly notable year for the returning adjunct professor. The successes of 2016 are the product of education, training and over twenty yearsof hard work in the industry. The most recent characters portrayed by Mahoney demonstrate an ability to expand beyond a type cast.

Mahoney's character Olivia in the hit TV show The Walking Dead, is a survivor of the zombie outbreak and thereby stands in stark contrast to her role as the mother of Elvis, Gladys Presley, in the upcoming CMT series Million Dollar Quartet, and the mousy mom in the motion picture Bad Moms (starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn).

In her own words, "It's been an exciting year. I have had opportunities to play such a wide variety of characters, [from] comedies [to] dramas, and I am especially thrilled to be playing an iconic historical figure in Gladys Presley." The lucky students who are scheduled to take her class in voice and movement will have the unique opportunity to learn from such an actress who serves as a model for success found through hard work and study.
