Maura Lindsey is a visual artist from Panama City, Florida, but is happy to call New Orleans her home. She is a sophomore film major at Loyola University New Orleans.
Her works are focused in photography, drawing, and sculpture - centralizing portraiture and a grotesque yet occasionally comical nature. These portraits aim to explore the eccentricities of the human experience and beauty found in personality. Aside from character design, her other works - most notably her sculptures - aim for a sense of catharsis, stemming from emotionally heavy narratives. Her photography has been displayed in galleries both in Panama City and New Orleans.
