Kelly is a Florida native who moved to New Orleans in 2016 to pursue a Master’s in Music Therapy at Loyola University New Orleans. Prior to teaching in the Preparatory Arts Department, Kelly taught music lessons for various music studios in the Tampa Bay Area. Kelly also tutored class piano students at the University of Tampa, where she received undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and Piano Performance. Kelly was an active choral and instrumental accompanist for middle and high schools in the area as well as a church musician. In addition to her music therapy studies and music teaching at Loyola, she performs regularly as a vocalist in NOVA, and as a vocalist and substitute organist at St. Francis of Assisi Church. She is a member of MTNA and AMTA.
