As the Louisiana Children’s Museum’s Art Educator, Dianna Sanchez will be in charge of Art Trek, the museum’s art studio. In Art Trek, children and their parents participate in weekly projects that teach kids about art history and about new ways to make art, doing everything from Dada-inspired word collages to giant Eric Carle butterflies. Dianna will also be teaching the museum’s art camps this summer. She has created much of the camp’s curriculum and will be covering themes from New Orleans architecture to famous illustrators.
