Collaborative Book Project with Family
My grandmother passed away in April from non-covid related health issues. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic our (large) family is not able to gather to mourn her together.
My grandmother seemed to have a new art project for us to do every time I stayed at her house as a child, so my mother suggested that in lieu of a funeral, we memorialize her in a more artistic way. We decided that I would teach my parents the basics of bookbinding, and we would each make a small scrapbook of our memories of her.
