Loyola University New Orleans Art and Design lecturer Barbara Brainard is exhibiting large-scale drawings of the intersections of relict canal systems and the quirky urban architecture that has evolved around them. Brainard’s exhibition, “City In Mind” runs April 29 through May 31 at Cole Pratt Gallery. An opening reception is Saturday, May 10 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the gallery located at 3800 Magazine Street in New Orleans.
